Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) late on Monday unveiled a new chip designed for enterprise data centers as it seeks to challenge Nvidia’s (NVDA) dominance in the AI hardware market, while also highlighting the capabilities of its next generation of data-center products.

The whole AI PC trend didn't exactly set the world on fire last year, but, like clockwork, AMD is still ready to deliver a new batch of AI chips at CES 2026.

Now it’s getting the latest AMD chip too — just know the new 9850X3D is only a tad faster than the 9800X3D (AMD says roughly 7 percent uplift).
